Q: What the difference between different functional version?
A: The BPA is available in two functional version, namely, N1 and
N2.The N1BPA is discontinued.
Q: What the last two number mean of SSN1BPA02?
A: The last two digital number means the BPA feature code, the
relation as below:

Q: How could I calculate the fiber loss?
A: Take 120km transmission distance as example, the most deployed
fiber are G.652, this type of fiber default is 0.275 dB/km, so
120km total loss is 120km*0.275dB/km=33dB.
Q: Can I use SSN1BPA02 if I don’t have SSN2BPA01?
A: Yes you can ,but remember N1BPA02 is 17dB Gain, N2BPA01 is 14dB
Gain, to avoid burn down the board, make sure a 3dB attenuator is
connected between fiber.
Q: Should I deploy BPA at transmit side or at receive side?
A: Deploy at transmit side to increase the launched optical power
of the line board to 17dBm, or deploy at receive side to increase
the receiver sensitivity to -37dBm.
Q: Can I return/exchange board if not compatible with my system?
A: Yes, please tell our sales team your system and main control
board version, before your purchase.
Q: The board is new or refurbished?
A: Yes, it is original new, not been used.
